People that donate
Last year I was not able to get everything situated to put names on a shirt. Now, I'm ready and have someone to put all the people that donate on a shirt. I would really appreciate and thank you for even a dollar or two, as each dollar does make a difference.
Personal reason why...
I have had some kindey stones that act up here and there since 2000. Thus, I've been monitoring them all the time and just making sure they don't cause more
damage. I have been a little worried lately, this year, 2007/2008 as my lab results are border line on making me really take notice to my kidneys. Thus, seeing docotrs
and making sure I do what I can to make sure I continue to make sure my kindeys stay working. It's been very stressful but I hope with staying healhty I can prevent
needing to go on Dialysis.
This will be a 240-mile bike ride over four days with fellow DaVita Teammates in order to help raise awareness chronic kidney disease
and funds for The Kidney Trust.
The bike ride will start on September 14, 2007 in New London, WI and will continue though September 18, 2008 ending in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
All the riders will various DaVita dialysis clinics en-route to show our support
and bring a little light to the DaVita patients.
My tasks are to raise $1,000 or more by August 1st, 2008. None of the money raised for The Kidney Trust will go towards my airfare or
my lodging. I will have to arrange for roundtrip travel and hotel from Los Angeles to Wisconsin and hotel.
Donations for the airfare and lodging are welcome though my paypal account. All the other nights, all the riders will be camping out on the
bicycle route. This is going to be tough but well worth the cause.
